The Janis Care Team understands that every client requires a personalized, unique approach. We recognize that no two clients are alike and that every person under our care deserves their own custom care plan.
Janis Care Services is registered and accredited with the Client Directed Homecare Invoicing Program. If you’ve been assessed by AHS for public home healthcare, you have the option to choose Janis Care Services, and we will direct bill AHS via blue cross for the support we provide you with. You do not have to have Blue Cross coverage to access Client Directed Homecare Invoicing.
We also provide support to clients in facilities who are looking for added attention and care.

In-Home Care
Meal Preparation
Janis Care Services can create the ideal meal preparation and nutrition plans for your loved ones. We offer grocery shopping services, meal preparation, and clean-up as well. As we age, proper nutrition and maintaining a balanced diet become even more important. According to Statistics Canada, 34% of Canadians aged 65 years and older are at risk for poor nutrition. Reach to our friendly staff to discuss the best plan for you and your loved ones.
MS, Parkinsons, Alzheimhers & Dementia
Our care workers are certified and licensed in caring for individuals with diseases such as the above and have decades of experience in providing care services to individuals with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia. We provide personalized care structures that suit each individual accordingly.
Disability Care
Our caring, compassionate, and experienced staff are trained and experienced in providing comprehensive care to clients with varying degrees and types of physical disabilities. Bathing, personal hygiene, and peri care. Our staff are also Tube feeding certified and Colostomy certified.
Autism Care
At-home care can be particularly helpful for children with an autism spectrum disorder. Individuals with autism require special care to thrive, and premier home care from a qualified caregiver can be a beneficial source of support. We offer focused care plans centred on consistent and personalized care structures, as reliable and steady care is of utmost importance to these clients.
Around the clock care
Do you need someone to help you with meal preparation and house cleaning day today? Your around-the-clock care team and caregiver will take over any tasks that need handling and accompany you on your favorite daily outings such as walking your dog or going grocery shopping. No matter the situation or occasion, you will always have someone readily available to provide assistance and companionship to you all day, every day with respite care if needed.
Respite Care
Respite care is temporary care that shifts primary caregiving activities to another person, usually a professional caregiver, family member, or friend, in order to allow primary caregivers a temporary respite from caring responsibilities. Our professionally trained caregivers will be with your loved one for as long or as little as you require. Our clients are given a customized care plan that combines physical, mental, and emotional activities to increase engagement while allowing the primary care giver(s) a break.
Home Making Services
At Janis Care Services, we have no restrictions on household chores or homemaking and are able to follow individualized or preferred care plans.
Care for People with Developmental Disabilities
Asides from Autism, our caregivers are well equipped with the experience and knowledge to be able to look after people with other forms of developmental disabilities.
ALS Care
People who suffer from ALS often require progressive and highly specialized care. We have an appointed team that is particularly experienced in the care of people who suffer from this serious neurodegenerative disease.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
This immobilizing inflammatory disease of the joints often can be kept at bay with today’s medical treatments, however as it progresses patients usually require assistance with daily living. Being the condition that Janis herself suffered from, caring for people with RH is right in our wheelhouse.

We offer direct billing to AHS for clients who have been approved for Client Directed Homecare, and we also assist with the approval process for Client Directed Homecare.
